Need Colorado trail advice

We are leaving on Friday to head towards Colorado from Tulsa Oklahoma. We will be there 9 days staying in the Denver area ½ the time and Colorado Springs the other ½. We were hoping to run some trails in our 4runner while we are there. Will any be open? Which ones? As for mods I just have bilsteins in the front, airbags in the rear with aftermarket 17” wheels with stock sized “e” rated duratracs.

Also, I have been wheeling for quite some time in a big 4wd truck, Willys jeeps, and the latest a Polaris rzr. This will be my first outing with the 4runner. Any advice, tips?

Thanks

We've had an extremely warm fall, lot's of trails open.

I went up Rollins Pass last weekend - it was in great shape - some decent snow at the top, but no obstacle for the t4r.

East or West side? I was thinking about giving it a go, since there's no freaking snow, GRRR!

Thats what I was gathering from the net, not much snow yet this year. I just wasn't sure if trails closed on a certain date, or from no longer being passable. I CANT WAIT!

Post up if you want to go on a run. My next week is fairly open to wheel. I could show you a trail.

What level trails do you wheel?
What level of build is your rig?

I will be wheeling easyish trails. My 3 month old son will be riding in the back seat if that tells you anything... I just put bilsteins in the front on 0.85" lift setting and have airbags in the rear, put some tube steps on it so my wife can get in, E rated Goodyear Duratracs in the stock size on KMC bullys. Definately not setup as a "trail rig" but it looks good. We usually do trails in our Polaris RZR, this is the first time to use the 4runner and I dont want to scratch or ding it up haha. Last time I was in Colorado with the RZR the trail I liked the most was Chinamans Gulch, kinda north of Salida. Won't be doing anything even close to that this year.

I perfectly understand if you dont want to run trails with me haha...
