Need Fender Flare Parts

Hey guys. I have the factory fender flares on my 97 4Runner Limited and the transition molding between the body and the flares are cracking out really bad. Any idea where I can get an aftermarket replacement?

Those are generally sh%t parts and although sometimes appropriate (I have a NAPA starter), in cases like this you should just go to the dealer. Perhaps an online dealer but still a dealer.

That part you refer to is a simple piece or rubber that probably only costs $10-$15 at the dealer. It is a cosmetic part and I seriously doubt the aftermarket version would work well, if at all.

Use the link to do a basic parts search. I simply typed FLARE in the search after selecting my year of 4Runner and type. Click the diagram button. Look at the diagram. What number is your part? I see it is #13. Ok now which #13? Perhaps the gray or black one? Select and add to cart. Once added to cart you can write down the part #. You can then call them on the phone and do a phone order with that part number. Be sure to ask for the online price or you will be charged the in-store dealer price (because they are a real dealer).

Boom! That's why I asked The stealership is a long way to drive and it wasn't a sensor or electronic component (learned that less!). Reason I need that piece if I'm going to pull the flares and re-clear coat my from fenders before they get sun burn. If you look at them in the right light, you can see they are fading.

I know this is a random question but what is the best way to go about selling parts I'm not going to use? I have the back storage area spring loaded roll up cover and the running boards that I am not going to keep.
