Need help identifying this hose

Hi. Can someone please tell me what the name of this hose is? It split, and I had to duct tape the ends to get home from a trip. It is connected to the driver's side valve cover. The other side connects to a tube that eventually connects to the large air intake hose.

Also, it appears that there is oil that is traveling into the air intake hose from this hose. Any idea what that is about?

The oil traveling through the hose is excessive blow-by from the PCV. That's depending on how much oil there is though.

You're best off buying some silicone hose from siliconeintakes.com and replacing all of the hoses. Most likely a lot of your other hoses are falling apart as well.

Thank you. I have been replacing them, but this one has a particular shape, and I can't find the specific replacement. Do you know what it is called?

Aren't you in luck... this hose has no name. It's a length of hose of no name or sizing. This is from the Toyota parts database for part # 90999-92002:

You literally have to make the hose yourself, LOL @ Toyota

I can't imagine what prices Toyota is charging for vacuum hose though. Probably like 5 dollars a foot.

That's for the small vacuum hose behind the one he is interested in. I posted the actual part number for the molded hose in the other thread he started...

Quoted here:

The general term would be a crankcase vent hose. It carries fresh air in/out of the engine. That hose can carry oil vapors, but it should generally be a small amount.

The official Toyota name is: HOSE, VENTILATION, NO.2, PN: 12262-62050
