Need help on Color of paint for Rock Sliders

I just got some rock sliders from Stubbs Welding and I am going to be painting them black to match my black 4Runner.

I was wondering what color of black I should use? Also, what kind of paint? Thanks

What I mean is should I use a flat black, glossy black, etc., I have a grill guard that is not glossy black but more of a flat black so should I stay with that type of black?

That's totally up to you. Whatever YOU think looks good matters, not what someone else thinks.

I would use a good oil base primer and paint though (Rustoleum maybe) as it will hold up better.

I recently had my Hanna Quality sliders powdercoated flat black, which is actually 20% gloss, and they turned out perfect. Any more gloss than 20% would look too shiny and be to slippery to use as a step.

ha if you use em, in a week they wont have any paint!
