Need help with build!

I am thinking about Trading my 2011 jeep wrangler unlimited for a 2014 4Runner. With the jeep it was always easy to find off road parts due to the vast number of websites the were dedicated to selling jeep parts. I am having trouble finding off road parts for the 2014 4 runner due to the smaller market. If there are any websites that have lots of 4runner mods, plz share.
I am going to put off road tires on the 4runner but I have little knowledge of anything to do with lifts, tires, size, etc...
I would like for it to look something like this...

Welcome to the forum and to answer your question you are on the perfect website. There is a build section in the stickies that you should spend time going through to figure out what you like/want (need is a strong word)

Whelp, looks like Method wheels, Toytec Ultimate or Boss kit with the optional diff drop on some BFG 285s and a little plasti-dip on the front. Straight forward and easy "build."

Edit: ops, theres a TRD lic plate frame on there too.

Check Toytec for less expensive suspensions, Icon for more expensive suspensions. For tires, most run up to a 285 70r17 without having to do too many mods to fit. Armor comes from RCI, Budbuilt, Shrockworks, Rocky Road (sliders only), etc. I know I'm missing a few. A lot on here (including myself) wil say get better tires and maybe sliders first and then go take it off road. Learn to wheel it stock and you'll find it's very capable. Lift and get bigger tires later maybe. I lifted mine after a year of owning it so I can do harder trails. But I'll also admit I like the look of it lifted better (there, I admitted it! I'd recommend dedicating a few evenings to running through the build threads. There is a vast amount of knowledge to be had on this site and we offer it up happily - unless it's a question that's easy to answer with a search. We tend to get flamey in that situation, hahaha. Good luck with your search for a 'Runner - although there is less aftermarket support than for a Heep, the Toyota is far superior in terms of quality and reliability.
