need more power!

i have a 1991 4runner lifted on 35's it has the 4cly in it and its auto i am starting to pull a small trailer and even when im not and i am driving up hills i loose so much speed hard to keep it at 100 drops to like 80 what can i do to give me more power?

You need to replace your gears (front and rear axle) to a lower ratio. That must be brutal to drive like that.

I was just about to say the same thing. You could mod that motor to H**L and back and you probably still want more power.

what would you suggest for gears i am not familiar with gearing?

with 35" at a min 4.56, 4.88's would be a better choice. How much do you tow? How much does it weigh? How fast do you want to go with or with out a trailer? These are the types of questions that help you figure out what gears you will need.

with 35s and a 4cyl you want 5.13 gears
