Need some help, engine whine not accessories

Hi Everyone I am looking for some help here, I live in a town with no good mechanics where usually they do more harm then good so trying to solve this myself

I have a 2010 4runner 4x4 4.0l with an engine whine that is noticiable in park or drive but only with high rpm. At idle or cruising you don't hear it.

Here's what I have done

I took the accessory belt off and sound is still present. I have narrowed it down to the engine and doesn't seem to come from the tranny. I took the air filter off and it's clean. I am going to buy a stethoscope and try and pinpoint it better. The vehicle runs and drives fine no issues no hard shifts. I have a 2009 Tacoma 4.0 and I have compadres the two and am sure something is off. It has about 122000km so around 80 000 miles.

I need some help I don't know what to do next

Is there any possibility that there's a disconnected hose somewhere? Does it sound like a rotational noise (i.e. a turbine noise) or does it sound more akin to leaking air out of a balloon? Without really being able to hear the noise or have an idea of where it's coming from we can't do too much to help. You've already eliminated everything that is driven by the belt and it seems only noticeable at high RPMs regardless of movement.

It sounds like a supercharger or like something is spinning, I will give it a look over for any loose hoses. I have heard a few air leaks before and it sounds more like a bearing or pulley gone bad. Hence I thought taking the belt off would narrow it down.

I spend some more time with it today, narrowed down the noise to the passenger side of the SUV. I thought I had it figured to be the cat and changed the rear one out but it didnt solve it. I seems to be around the back close to the firewall. I checked for loose hoses and nothing is disconnected.

I had the stethoscope on it and it is on the top of the motor / middle. I had the scanner on it with live data and everything seems normal, my O2 sensor bank 2 read a little less and I thought the noise was on the Catalytic converter is why i changed it.

Please help with any thoughts I have no clue how to diagnose it further.
