Need suggestions on front springs! Please!

Hey everyone, Please forgive me if this is discussed somewhere else, I am new to the whole forum world.. if it is and I should be looking or reading somewhere else please let me know.. what I’m looking for are some suggestions on amount of front spring lift. I am goin to install trail gear front springs cause my rear stockers are toast... I just installed 63’s in the rear and my runner is pretty stink bugged. There is about 10 1/2 inches between edge of fender well and tire in the rear and 8 1/2 in the front. I have thoughts on amount of front spring lift but wanna hear what others think... I have not driven it around to settle the springs yet but I’m not sure they will settle a bunch. I installed 3+1 in the rear with a three inch block. Any suggestions would be great. Get rid of the block, that should make it match. If the 63s are used, they probably wont settle.

What are you running in the front currently?

Also, the rear fender is about 2" lower than the front iirc, so its not a totally accurate way to make sure they are even.

From what I can tell they are just stock springs in the front.. but it was level with the three inch block in the back with stock back rears springs... my problem was stuffing the 35’s when turning while wheelin and stuffing the rears with my gear fully loaded when goin camping or wheelin.. I kinda like the travel in the back now...my thought was with the 47’s up front it will move my axle forward bout an 1”- 1 1/2” ?? not sure exactly the distance, then just get the correct amount of spring lift in the front and level it out.. If I pull the blocks will I stuff those 35’s in the rear again fully loaded? What are your thoughts on the best way to find out the amount of lift needed in the front springs?

If you have 35s and front fenders, theyre probably not stock springs. Rear up Front springs should move the axle about 3" forward. Do you have high steer already? Combining the rear pack and the stock front pack may give you a bit of lift. Usually RUF springs are done for a lower stance.

Ok, I will take some photos of the front. Oh and yes I have high steer. The front spring hangers haven’t been moved forward so that’s why I was thinkin they were still stock. They are stock length for sure. I am gonna start the front end this weekend, start gettin things tore down. But I will get some photos up asap. Thank you again for this help.

So I just ended up pulling the front end apart and getting the Trail Gear 3” super flex springs. I’m gonna install those and probably remove the blocks in the rear... then If need be I will do some fender and body work for clearance.

I installed the front springs and it leveled it up pretty good. I know they will settle some but I still have a rear bumper with a tire carrier and Accessories to go on. Gonna drive it around a bit to see how much they’ll settle.. kinda go from there.
