Need to knows when ordering

Would appreciate any advice, tips, or things to watch for when ordering new TEP KDSS. Order the TRD wheels and skid at that time or can they be found cheaper else where.

i will be selling my TRD wheels & TRD skid plate off of my TRD PRO pretty soon.
It would be cheaper than paying the dealer.

If your talking about ordering the Aluminium TRD skid it will not work with KDSS. Think a couple members have cut the skid to allow the sway bar room to move but I'd just go aftermarket. RCI makes a nice one in Aluminium if your trying to save weight. If not then there are lots of great steel options. RCI, CBI, Shorckworks, and BudBuilt to name a few.

If I were going to buy a new 4R, plus some TRD goodies, I'd first price them over the 'net.

Then I'd make them part of the deal with the new car purchase - making sure to get at least as good (or better) a price. I'd also have the installation as part of the deal.

Everything in writing of course.

Thanks for the help so far. I'll have to ck out the other skids because I don't care what brand. I was aware of the need for the cut out but I work at a machine shop so that's a piece of cake. jmf sent you a pm.
