Can anyone tell me how to get the switch out? Or point me in the direction of a "how to"? Maybe my google-fu is getting weak, but I haven't been able to come up with anything.

you have to take off the door panel, and then there are clips from the inside. its really easy. i took mine out while i painted the door.

if you would like i can make a how to video tonight when i get off work.

is it your front pass. or rear pass. door?

i have a video on here about the rear, that i did for someone else. but the front is like 2 extra steps, so i can just make another one for that if its the front.

okay so heres how to take off the door panel

this video is for the rear passenger door. and i took pics of the 2 extra steps
do these before following the video

first, remove this piece. its real easy. held on by one clip in the middle.
i find it easiest to remove it where my screw driver is placed. behind it
will reveal the bolt to the mirror.

and right under that piece is this one,
push the inside in with your screw driver, then slide your flat head (or fingernail) under the outside of it and pull out.

then follow this.

now that the door panel is off, the window switch is just held on with clips. push the sides in and it comes out. if you still have trouble let me know.
