Negative backspace - What wheels did you buy?

I'm looking to replace my stockers with something that has around -10 to -12 backspace to get that wider "bulldog" stance. From what I have read, this should put them almost even with my Limited flares.

I'm just curious what wheels other members have bought. I'll probably cruise over to Discount Tire later and see what they have.

I have no interest in using spacers.

I've read all the backspace threads, not looking to stir up that conversation again.

I got these at Discount Tires--- MB Wheels 352 -16 X8.5 6-139.70 -6 BKMTXX

They put my 285 75r16 to the edge of the limited flares.

The term is offset, which is the spacing from the center of the rim., backspacing is the spacing from the rim in inches.

I went to FN wheels and bought a sick set of Konigs. Look like this:



They have about a 1" in crease to the backspace. I was running 1.25 spacers and when I put these rims on they were so far out they rubbed too much (prior to the lift). Now Im running the spacers again and the truck sits about 4.5" wider than stock.

What wheels did I buy?

Stock 16" 5-Stars with 285x75x16 tires.

No wheel spacers. By default the aftermarket wheels will sit out about 3/4 to 1" further towards the curb than stock wheels. I wouldn't go more than that or add spacers in addition if you are going to be running 285s / 33s.

SCS F5 Wheels in Gunmetal. I think they're perfect backspacing; they fill out my fenders with 285s just right.

not for everyone but i am running a 16x8 -32mm wheel ( Wheel is -20mm, spacer 12mm = -32mm) reason for spacer is to clear my Big Brake kit.
