Sorry to hijack thread, but I'm a little confused on the 06 models. Do all 06 Scion HUs have the port for the IPOD, except for the one with the cd changer? Thanks

No, I don't believe they do.

The one question I'm still wondering though is if the 06 Scion HU will work w/ my 2005 T4R steering wheel controls.

The '06 Scion radio with the IPOD jack I think is the one with the three knobs on the front. Also, it looks like the steering wheel controls will work. I would still try everything before I put the dash back together!

I just installed a 2006 scion hu (with the volume nob). The steering wheel controls work the same as with the stock HU. This is by far the best mod you can do to improve sound without spending much money.

Winniesn is right spot on. Did the conversion and everything on my 2005 T4R Sport works just as it did before. Also did the antenna mod so both antenna wires have a home, and I did the display conversion to read 4Runner from Scion. Now to figure out if I can remove the Scion logo from the outside of the radio?

I emailed that dude about the stereo yesterday. Its not the one with IPOD support. Which leads me to my question. If I get this 06 radio(Or even an 05) Is there anyway I can get support for an IPOD???

Yeah if his had ipod support I'd jump on it too - the main reason I want that one is because it has dials for most common functions (volume & tune) instead of buttons. I really like my dials. :yesyes:
