New 12 Limited owner one question.

Recently purchase a 2012 limited. I have on question . Everytime I let go the gas pedal I hear a click (tick)noise, this happens every time. Is this normal or should I take it to the dealer?? Thanks in advance

Hmm don't think I've ever heard any noise when letting off the gas but I will check tomorrow. If it concerns you and it can be reproduced for the tech then by all means bring it in and have it checked.

Nope just checked all I hear when I release the gas pedal is a "thunk" when it hits the stop. Sorry. Take it to your local dealership, if you can replicate the noise they should be able to fix it

Page 214 in the owners manual states in paragraph 4; "For any concerning or strange sounds heard, please attenuate the volume of the stereo system ( It is highly recommended to have AC/DC Back in Black in the song list for this repair to take effect)"!

Ok, here is your freebie - yes - it is normal - you can sleep at night now I was at the dealership for 2 hours for an oil change a couple months ago, I hope some &%*$ did not seriously bring his 4R because it clicked!

ACTUALLY IT WAS NOT NORMAL!!! dealership replaced the pedal and now is fine!!! So im happy you spend 2 hours in there.
