Just bought my new 2010!!!!

Got a Magnetic Grey SR5 with Black interior. Standard options pack with Sport seats, Slide out cargo tray, Sunroof, etc. They also added remote start.

Just bought a 3/2 spacer kit, waiting on tires from local shop. I had a FJ before with Fox coilovers that I loved, planning that later when I get more coin. For now the spacers will have to do!

Will post pics when I get everything installed. Excited to see what this thing will look like with a little lift and some decent tires!!!!

i assume it's 3" front /2" rear to even out the raked profile. the 5G seems better than the 4G in this regard, though. (less rake to my eyes, anyway.)

It's actually a 2 inch rake on the 5th Limited 4x4. Measures 35 inches from the front center fender lip to the ground in the front and 37 inches in the back. I ordered a Toytec 2 inch spacer kit for the front on mine to level it out.

Yes its a 3" front 2" rear lift approx. Its only about a 2" rake. So this should eliminate about 1" of the factory rake while lifting the front 3" and the rear 2". Just enough for bigger tires, hopefully. The wheel wells look a little bigger on the 5G than the 4G, we shall see what will fit on Monday with little cutting etc after I install the lift.

Did you purchase the vehicle at mountain states toyota? That's the only dealer in CO that i can find that has them.

Congrats on your purchase! Cant wait to see some pics.

Looking at the wheel wells, I've been assuming they were made to accomodate 33s stock. How big are you planning on going?

Yeah, got it at Mountain States. They were good, gave me a decent deal.

Thanks, I will get some before and after pics hopefully tomorrow with the new tires.

I want to run 33's. I had some on yesterday to make sure i liked the wheels without the lift. I dont think there is anyway they would fit under full compression, not sure, JMO. The lift is only 3" and was very inexpensive, figure it will raise clearance a little and give the tires more room to travel. Let ya know how much room is really under there tomorrow when i get everything on.

harper7, yes thats less rake than a 4th gen. mine was 2 & 7/8 frt to rear difference when i bought it.

mind sharing the price you paid and the sticker price?

must. post. pics. :)

Sorry for the quality of pics. Its freezing in CO right now, snowing and nasty and I am in the process of moving next week so things are crazy.

Anyway, here are a couple pics until I can wash it and take some decent shots.

I put on a Toytec 3" spacer in front with 2" rear springs. I tried their rear spacer and it did not lift the rear enough (was still 1/4" lower than front, the rake on the 2010 is less than 2009). The new springs are much better!!!! Toytec is awesome, they were very accommodating when I told them the spacers were not high enough!!! Great Guys, Great Product!!!

The wheels are 20X9, don't know backspacing, same as stock 2009, or made to fit 2009 4runner at least. The tires are Cooper Zeon LTZ 275/60R20. I have never had these before (ran a lot of Nitto TG's) but the tire guy really liked them so I am giving them a shot, and will let you know how they hold up.

I used to wheel a lot, now its mostly hunting, light wheeling for camping, etc, and this is my DD so I that is why I decided to go the 20's route. Still handles great, and I love the way it turned out!!!

Looks pretty good. First lifted 5th Gen I believe. Congrats.

Could you have fit 285's?

I dont think so. These are 275/60R20. So they are basically 33X11.5

I still need to trim inside front wheel well cause I rub a little on full lock under compression.
