Will 16s fit on the 2010 4runner? Or are the disc brakes too big?
I really want to put these FJ wheels on my new ride:
Do you have a set of those?
They are very hard to get a hold of.

You can order them from the any Toyota dealer to the tune of $450 a wheel ? But they are 16's.
You can get them on Feebay cheaper but still pretty expensive .Here is the link. They do make the 6 spoke FJ wheels in 17 inch now and are alot cheaper. I bought a set of 5 new take offs from a 2008 FJ for $350. I was going to have them powdercoated black and put on but changed my mind so they are going up for sale.I'm sticking with the SR5 rims for now.

THAT is the catch! I was told at the dealership that all the 2010's have the bigger brakes(I think 13.3 inch rotors) that used to be only on the limited and that 16 inch wheels will NOT work. I just checked on mine and there is less then 1/2 inch clearance between the caliper and the inside of the 17 inch rim.
That being said ,where there is a will there is a way. I'm sure it will be real close and the outside of the brake caliper housings can be trimmed to fit but I would'nt advise it.

The lift may void suspension component related warranty issues. Magnuson Moss Warranty Act basically says the modification has to be related directly to the failure. The burden of proof is on Toyota. If your radio stops working, Toyota can't say it was the lift. If the CV boots tear or the joints fail, then Toyota can deny warranty due to the lift.
I don't know, but I've seen it mentioned that 4th gen lifts work with the 2010.
There are longer shocks available, basically all that work with 4th gens will work with 2010. I have not experienced any CV bind yet.

They have everything on the site. If you call they can walk you through everything, they are very nice and know Toyota's inside and out.
