Well, installing 20% on the front windows made the fronts match the rears, but the difference is that the factory tint is part of the glass, not a film that goes over the existing window. Again, I'm 99% sure that the factory rear tint is at 35%. Different applications of "tinting" will provide different results.

I think something in the 25-30% range would match better, but I don't really know of too many shops that carry anything in that range.

Really? Maybe it depends on the brand of tint. 20% 3M matched my rears very well I'd say.

Your right, 20% is definitely the way to go. When it's kinda dark, like in your picture, it matches really well. When the sun is out they look a little light due to the sun coming in from the windshield.

I found two pictures from a long time ago, both with 20% tint on the front windows. One is taken in the shade and one is taken in the sun.
