New 4runner

Bought a 96 limited 4wd today, 195k miles, $3000. Ever since I sold my 97 sr5 4 years ago I've been wanting another one. Wish I still had my original but this'll do. It's all stock now but once I get new tires out of the way ill move on to some mods. (Removed that ricer exhaust tip)

Anyone know how I could remove those window visors without damaging the rubber it's attached to? They are after market attached with some kind of heavy duty double sided tape.

Can't beat Craigslist it took a lot of digging but there's some gems out there

Try some fishing line or dental floss and pull and saw up and down thru the tape. You will probably need to get some 3m adhesive remover to get the rest of the tape left over from the rubber.

Get a heat gun and try to heat up the adhesive backing so pull off better, then used adhesive remover to get the residue off

Thanks the the advice. Don't have a heat gun, but the fishing line and some goof off did the trick
