New Aftermarket Cross bars - CargoLoc 2-Piece 52" Aluminum Roof Top Cross Bar Set

Just purchased these cross bars from Amazon - $55 & free shipping

I like the look of aftermarket cross bars but I don't want to break the bank as I am purchasing them mainly for looks. Thule and Yakima racks can easily set you back $400 (which I'm sure they are worth every penny). I plan on buying a real roof rack in about 1 year which is another reason why I don't want to go all out on the cross bars.

They seem to have mostly good reviews on Amazon and there's even a few 4Runner owners with them. Weight limit is 150Lbs according to them. Worse case scenario, I'll just drop them off at my local UPS store and get my money back.

Have you considered options from LFD? You could start with their crossbars which eventually could be added to a full rack.

If anyone wondered what they look like , here it is. I think they give the car a nice touch.
