So overall, it wasn't too bad. I had to mount the crossovers IN the door! I couldn't find a place to mount them externally and still get the door panel on, so what I did was find a place to loceta them in between the panels in the door. Then I drilled couple holes and and a combination of dynamat, and screws and washers, securely mounted them out of site! I did make sure wiring and sound was correct.
I still have to mount the amp in the back, but am really considering adding teh sub and other amp now, while it is still somewhat open for adjustment. Anyways. The thing sounds fantastic. It sounds like I have a small 8 inch sub in there now, but putting 4 6.5 speakers in there, and extensive dynamat and sealing will do that, won't it?

Looks great - especially those rear tweets.
Check out the small Elemental Design subs. They make some under 8" in diameter. A midrange 6.5" won't be a perfect replacement for an 8" sub; although it may reproduce the same frequencies, it won't have anywhere near the audible output of a sub at lower frequencies. Kind of like when you see a 6.5" spec that shows 30hz to 1000hz, for example. With equal power, there is a huge between a 6.5" midrange and an 8" sub; the sub is dedicated to that range. Plus it takes more power to reproduce that range, and you can't give a 6.5" midrange >200 watts only in that range, but <100w over that range. Ya dig?
