More important....three-year free replacement...most non-AGM are only two. Although mine is almost four years old and doing great. I only got five on my US-made Optima (and seven on stock Panasonic--wish I could get more of those.)

In the same predicament also,haven't been driving my T4R for almost a month and discharged it. I was hoping the $2+K charger at work would revive the battery but no luck,been driving around with my jumper box until I replace it.
Pep Boys has a 25% discount code on $100+ online orders at the moment. I'm thinking of either a standard Bosch (free replacement and roadside assistance for 3 years) for $102 and change after discount/core or an AGM for (4 year replacement,3 year roadside) for $152 and change. Their ProStart battery has less CCAs and a shorter warranty so it's off my list.

Dead battery in or out? Either way is bad for your alternator but out is much worse (unless it is a complete short.)
Or are you using the jumper full-time? I have no idea what that does.

Wont hurt or over work the alternator. The battery is just to start the motor and save ecu, clock, radio data ect. Once the motor is running the alternator takes over all electrical duties including charging the battery. A weak alternator will shorten the life of a battery though since the battery has to make up for the alt not putting out enough.

Actually, I don't know if it is the battery. I had a new Alternator installed early spring and a new starter about 2 months ago so I hoping that isn't not the issue. The Connections are all clean free of acid and coated with a protectant. Naturally, I would have the system load tested before I went out and dumped in for a new Battery. I was just curious to see what was out there.
The only thing that has changed since this started is that I had the Head unit changed and added one of those "cigarette lighter " plug in air fresheners. Normally I would have thought that was it, but the CL switches off when the Ignition is off. The Temp also got colder the night before too... "AZ 4running" suggested a Deep cycle too... I hadn't thought of that..
Thanks for all of the replies and suggestions... i'l have it sorted by the weekend... I'll let you guys know what the result was. I like the idea of continuing with interstate but the Odyssey sounds like a good idea as well.

I really love mine and the price and the spec were really good also comparing to the price of a autozone and advance you cannot beat.

All,
After all is said and done... I went with the same Interstate megatron plus. It's the same as I took out except this one has 12+vdc the one I remove believe it or not had 9VDC.. yeah, that's why it would not start the truck.. I checked all of the fill ports all were good except the first port which was damn near dry. I could see the plates and everything. I'll bet they were touching too. With the aid of my fluke 77 meter I think I had 13.8-14vdc with the engine running and with it off I believe it was a little better than 12.4vdc or so..
I also found a mirror from a Toyota Camry and a bolt that I have no idea where it came from.. The tech must have left it under the hood the last time I had it at the dealer.
Gonna go for a drive tonight. I'll bring the fluke and a fully charged Battery box just incase I mis- diagnosed something.
