Need local opinion on dealers for service in the Oriental NC area. I am moving to the area from Hatteras and need a good go to dealer that will not rip me off, when I need service.

There is a Toyota dealer in New Bern. I've not been, but it's not like there are a ton of places to choose from in ENC. I use Stevenson Toyota in Jacksonville, and I'm pretty happy with them - but I'm on Camp Lejeune. The next closest dealers to you are probably in Greenville or Kinston, but I can't imagine that there'd be enough of a difference to justify that drive.

Either go to Pechelas In little Washington or Greenville Toyota. I traded my 3rd Gen for my 5th Gen SR5 at Greenville Toyota and they treated me very well. Randy is my service manager ((252) 317-2924) and does a good job.

I second Greenville Toyota. I'm from Greenville and they do a great job. Stay away from Jacksonville. When I was still stationed in Lejeune I took my Tacoma in because the rear locker was not working. They told me they engaged it and did burn outs and seemed liked it was working! Told the service manger thanks for thrashing my truck and you do realize the locker only works in 4 low it's not a pre runner. That dealership is terrible. Sure your going to miss Hatteras. Buxton was my second home. Beautiful area.

I bought several tacomas from them many years ago and its not that far from Oriental. Miss Hatteras, I do not think so, between all the liberal eco nazis and the NPS Hatteras Island is dying, more and more beaches are closed, no night driving in the summer, screw'em have a 19lt jones bros that will get me anywhere I want to chase old drum in the neuse and back thanks for the tip.

Yeah i haven't been in a couple of years but have heard its getting bad. Bought fell out when I saw the two Wings stores and then had to pay for a beach driving pass. Some of the best memories I have where driving from the point to Frisco with my dad and just enjoying the beach and drive. My dad had a jones bros a long time ago. Awesome boats!
