new, cheap lug-centric rims?

so i have been in the market for new rims for quite some time. The local off road shop has some nice 16x8 pro comp rock crawlers on for a super discount of 75 a piece (which is great for canadian dollars). I have read every topic of lug centric vs hub etc... knowing how well the topic has been beaten to death. So my question is should i just fold and buy lug centric.. seeing as it seems very hard/impossible to find hub centric rims which fit our runners without an adapter, especially in my price range of under 100 bucks a wheel. Will i regret losing my hub centric factories? Id prefer a wider rim as im running 285's. Thanks!

You can just run hub rings if it really bothers you.

I was running lug centric rims with 285's on my 4runner without hub rings. The only thing that bothered me was the ride at highway speeds. I decided to move back to hub centric thou the ride is much better
