New DOUBLE DIN Radio

I have been looking for a new double DIN replacement for my stock radio. I went to Wally World and found a nice looking unit for $157. The cool thing about it is the fact you can change the colors to match the interior lights. For mine, the closest “green” color setting for day and night was “green #14”. It also has a remote, an equalizer, different presets for the equalizer and an iPod hook up port and your play list displays on the unit. I decided to buy it, put it in, changed the colors to match the interior and it is the closest thing to factory I have seen. It also sounds freaking awesome! Lots of features, perfect fit, good looks, great price. What more could you ask for if you don’t want to spend a fortune on something more extravagant??

Great price.

I ordered a Pioneer AVH-P4400, which cost quite a bit more, but mostly because I wanted bluetooth audio control for my iPhone.

Plus, having a backup camera is going to be awesome

We bought the same one for my sons 4Runner, but we bought it from Crutchfield because we wanted a 6 channel. Sounds good with alot of features.

Not trying to sound like a **** but you can easily fix that photo OP. in Windows, right click on photo, choose rotate clockwise.

Add me to the group. I bought it back in October from Crutchfield for $129. Really like it so far. I added a powered sub under my driver's seat, and now am happy as can be with my entire setup.

Just my opionion, but I don't know why anyone would spend money on a new deck without making sure it had bluetooth functionality, in this day and age where even your Grandma's phone has bluetooth and new laws against cell phones and driving are popping up everywhere.

That JVC does match the color of the stock dash nicely, that deck looks right at home.

Its very easy. Connecting the wiring harness took about 30 minutes. Once that was done, I had the trim off, HU in, and trim back on in about 30 minutes. I've done a few in the past, but this one was still pretty easy.

I wasn't too worried about the bluetooth. They hate making new laws here in Indiana...they won't even pass a public smoking ban...so I'm not worried about being able to talk on my cellphone in the future. And to be honest, unless its something real important, I don't use my phone. My last truck had a bluetooth HU, and I can't recall ever using it.
