New - full led swap - video

If anybody can recomemend a better company to use than superbrightleds, please share.

I cannot recomend their products or service.

From what I saw in your video, the puddle lights are the only ones that needed a flat base, correct? I'm looking on the TRS website at the ACME bulbs. They said the quality is really good, and they're only $15/pair.

yes that is correct, I tried using a wedge base in it and it didnt work, but the flat base on two different bulbs worked for the puddle lights.

$15 doesnt seem bad. All the 194/168 bulbs I used were about $8 each from SBL, so thats good.
I had three of those bulbs go bad and returning them has been a nightmare. they sent me new ones that didnt match in color. now they are saying they dont make that batch anymore so today I opted to return all of them for all new ones from the same new batch.
so now i have to un install all of them and ship them out and wait for new ones.

I started this return on june 15. still unresolved and getting poor service on top from Superbrightleds.com

you can see in the video that the License plate light and the map light dont match their partner.

I did notice the mismatch. I just assumed it was the camera or angle. If you still have bad luck, check out TRS. They are very well respected in the import community.
 
I used this video while installing my led's. There is also a great thread explains how to do the mirror puddle lights here somewhere I used. Had to use duct tape to get the map lights out.
 
Jason, what ballast did you go with for your kit. I'm leaning towards the signature 35w ballast and staying away from the 55w. Let me know what you think! Thanks
