not a fan of bull bars - i'm not sure yet but my current top picks are:

yeah, i like the way the plate bumpers look better than tube

Plate bumper definitely look nice, but they are way out of my budget and tubes still look good to me, im in the process of learning how to weld and fabbing upy own stuff, im at an apartment right now but when I get a house with a garage its going to get turned into a shop! I dont like being too dependent on anyone so learning how to make my own stuff will be a big plus for me

Ohhh I gotcha, yeah you wouldn't know them. I misread your post count as your age. Nope I've never heard of your brother. Funny though because there are a few guys on here that went to Sprague, but all of them graduated different years and no one knows anyone lol. Small town though, you would think we might know each other.

my ultimate goal is to be able to conquer desert terrain at high speeds, but since there's none of that in florida i would just like to be able to go up steep hills, hit areas that require articulation, bumps, and maybe a little bit of mud.

Lil' bit of mud did not hurt anything. Then again, several hundred pounds of mud does not hurt anything either if you wash the vehicle behind the ears and the brake rotors. I do that regularly.

Rocks are good trials.
Mudding is telltale glory.
Deserts are dances.

High speed desert off roading? I've got that Baja buzz too...hard. In my mind, getting to point A from point B in the most epic, dusty way possible is a pleasure---driving into the sunset. :cheer2: Heck, even US Navy SEALs in Afghanistan have been known to commandeer 4Runners and ditch their Desert Buggies and Humvees for the long haul. I'll provide a book reference if needed, lol. Anyway, that aside, desert offroading just has a wonderful, open space mystic about it. It's grand and gritty all at the same time.
