New Grill!!! Sweet!!

i see the tabs. do they just pull out or do i need to sqeeze the black inserts together. they feel springy like clips

yes they are springy clips, you push them together and apply pulling pressure to hold them out so they dont snap back in and go around the entire grill and it will pop out

Just finished mine. I like it

for how cheap it is i would just say yea. It if was more expensive it wouldnt be worth it with all the lights and stuff infront of it. But it def looks good and its easy to do just gotta have some spare time

how easy is it for me to remove the grill?

and is that the gutter gaurd from like a home depot with the little clamps on it? that is the only kind i could find around my area. and it was like 26 dollars for a whole box of 24

ya its pretty easy to remove the grill. Theres 5 or 6 tabs you just pop out. Yea it is the gutter guard with the 2 clamps on it. I bought 2 single sheets of it it was only like 1.30 or something for one lol

Bad pic..nighttime ill post a better one tomorrow

I'd remove the mesh material behind the Toyota badge, it doesn't look right.

yea i agree, the mesh behind the emblem is nice to me, how hard is it to get it behind the mesh? did you have to use glue or anything?

Does anyone have a pic from further distance? Im thinking about doing something to my grill, possibly a billet grill, but this looks interesting, easy, and cheap. However, I am not convinced that its a noticable mod unless you're standing at the same distance most of these pics have been taken at.

My feeling exactly... I went and picked up materials to make my 'own' mod. But last nite I tried this mod done by Kregg here in the forum. Ultimately, I want to fill-in the two cutouts on the '99 stock grill. Kregg's mod took about 20 minutes to apply, though its incomplete. This weekend, I'll go ahead and cutout the black parts on the grill and insert the gutter mesh in there. Does anyone know if this gutter material will rust???
