So it looks like you had to cut a notch in that center divider between the seats and the cargo area? I took it out, I don't really want to cut it. If I do, I will drill holes in the center flat area, with grommets.

Nice! I assume you don't have the double-decker. Also how do you use those rear mirrors?

Those mirrors are stock in the base system, and you can see your blindspots suurprisingly well, even from your rear view. If you turn around and look closely while reversing, you can also see almost all the way to your rear bumper (but the lens is wide angle so you have to be good with perspective)

That's an easy one. You can get so much more for your money if you go with other products.

Oh sure, go for the easy answer. I was hoping you might try and come up with something other than that. Just to see what you would say.

I have a Sony Xplode 10" sub in the sony box and it sounds great BUT I sure like that Stealthbox setup . I do a lot of camping and fishing and your setup would surely free up some well needed room . How much was the Stealth Box ?

Thanks !

You get what you pay for. I've used a number of different brands in my previous vehicles and have just grown partial to JL. They make great products that sound amazing. What I have been most impressed with so far has been the Infinity Kappa speakers throughout. They get loud and stay clear.

I ordered the Stealthbox through Crutchfield. I think they are selling for $675 for the '04 through '08 models. Unfortunately Crutchfield is based out of VA, which means I got stuck with tax on top of that.

Well worth it though if you need the space and still want the sound.

I'm not saying that JL doesn't make quality stuff, because they do. The W6 is really good.

I just think their prices are way too high. For example a RE XXX would kill a W6 and it is cheaper.

Which sub do you have in that box?

looks like a 10w3v3. u need some more power :)
i got 2 jl 300/2 one for the front and one for the back doors, also i got 500/1 for my 2 12w3v2 in the ho box from jl

First of, RE XXX is aimed at the W7 line. And the W7 will run all over the XXX. I've heard both. Working in Car audio for nearly 5 years and I've heard a lot of people claim "W7 killer!".... You know why everyone goes after the W7? Because it is the best. Lots of subs are louder than the W7... but nowhere near as clean.

The W6 is a killer sub as well especially when you see the 12" only requires .75 cubic ft of air space for pretty high output at an excellent quality.

As far as price... until recently RE was selling direct to the public, so of course it was going to be cheaper. I was able to buy directly from JL audio a few months ago and I bet what I paid for a W6 for my boat is way cheaper than RE will sell you a XXX for.

Yeah your right about the W7 and XXX being more equal. The only probably is the W7 does not stomp the XXX. The XXX is generally louder while the the W7 MAY have the slight edge in SQ.
