New guy

I have been lurking for about 6 weeks while I made my decision, and I am happy to say that I will be picking up my new 12 SR5 tomorrow afternoon. I have been waiting for 2 weeks for the vehicle to come in! It has been a long two weeks. Looks like a good community and I am thanking you in advance for information / help that I am sure to receive from this board. This is going to be my first 4runner, been a truck guy for the last 20 years, and it will be a happy / sad day tomorrow as I leave my Avalanche on the lot! But I am sure the drive home will turn the frown upside down. :banana:

I was in the same boat on the trucks. Coming from a farming background it was all I could do to walk away from a pick-up. There has not been one ounce of regret since purchasing an SR5 4x4. I cannot wait to start modifications. Welcome to the forum! There some really cool and imaginitive people onboard. Some of the stuff they come up with blows me away!!!!!!:hunter:

Congrats! If it comes down to it, and you need a truck for something, you can always get a clunker, for a few shekels, that'll get the job done.

Always a truck and/or full size vehicle guy myself. This will be my first foray into anything smaller than a Tahoe.
