New Icon multi-rate rear springs

I'm rethinking getting these...I opted for the CBI bumper without swing-out. So from what I've read that will come in at just about 130 pounds - so that may be too light for these springs. We'll see how it does.

Thinking about these as well... Wondering if I may be too heavy with the bumper, swing out, recovery gear, fuel tank and 81 lbs of fuel, rack and all the other doo dads I have bolted or welded to my vehicle.

I got them, and they're currently sitting in my house waiting for the CBI bumper to show up (February, hopefully).

Sure did... honestly, I think you'll be fine with the extra weight even without the swingout.

Any direct users chime in here? I'd like a spring that doesn't sag as much when I'm loaded up with 4 adults and gear. Unloaded, it sounds like these springs might be too stiff for daily driving?
Basically, I'm looking for a spring that handles trip weight better, without being too stiff for daily driving unloaded.

I would look into old man emu then. The icons are for constant weight on the rear end. Guessing you would have a rough and bouncey ride without wieght back there all the time.

@LT, or any of you other smart guys, will these new Icon springs limit my rear flex? The MetalTech ET springs are amazing at flexing my rear out. Debating whether I should be installing the Icon ones or just going with the heavier duty MetalTech ones that still offer 3" lift.

Here's mine with the Icon multi-rate springs installed, along with CBI rear bumper, full ARB drawers, fridge, etc. So far I'm a fan!
Looks sweet dude... how does the rear flex off road? Even though I have the Icon springs in hand, I'm wondering if they will give me that same amount of ridiculous flex in the rear that the MetalTech ET's give.

My rear flexes pretty great, but doesn't have as much droop as you do with the MT kit. Your shocks are longer to allow that droop. You need to talk to MT and see if the Icon springs are long enough to work in your setup, otherwise, the coil could fall out of the perch (but i doubt that would happen if you were running a rear sway bar...)

Here is mine without the swing out attached.

Do you still have sway bars? You can't get max flex with them still attached.

Yes I do. Still debating weather to remove them or leave them on.

I removed both, never looked back. You get used to it. The Icon's do their job well without them IMHO.
