New Lift/Tires finally!

I was concerned about that when I was setting it up, and that is what prompted me to go with a small body-lift. I didn't run into any problems my first time out - but I have by no means flexed every which way. I'm trying to get out to Hollister Hills on the 11th which should give me some better impressions.

So far though, I have run into no problems.

Cool! I hope you can make Hollister. I'm very intersetd in the body lift and would like to check yours out. Maybe we can caravan back home together on Sunday?

August Sierra's trip is only for modded trucks - min. requirements is a lift, sliders, cb, AT tires, recovery gear, an attitude of not worrying too much about minor damage. We decided this because we have not been there before and from heresay believe there might be some challenging trails.

August Pismo is fine for a stock rig. Just need to air down the tires and go.

August also has a Big Bear Trip which has three seperate run groups, stock, mild and wild. You would love this trip. Lots of people going. The stovk run has a group of about 20 already I think. You really need a cb tho to get the best out of the experinece as the trail leader will be talking alot about stuff as they travel.

Sept. Mojave I am not sure of yet. My best guess is a good set of tires, cb, recovery gear might be sufficient. The guy co-ordinating this is from Vegas. He has been scouting the areas each weekend but he has not conclusively come back with what the trail technicalities are.

Hey Mike, did you come out to Hollister? Sorry I don't remember and I really wanted to check out your wheel spacers and body lift.

Just wanted to say your 4Runner is one of the best looking 06s I've seen so far. ... nice truck!

Agreed. I'm still sitting on the fence :bash: but eventually will most likely do the ome setup.

Your 4runner looks awsome. :bigok:

I'll probably be doing the OME setup as well, as I can't really justify the extra expense for coil overs.

Very nice truck, however, LOSE THE RUNNING BOARDS! :bigok:

This may have already been asked and answered by now, but where can you find those cooper stt's? The only sites that I can find are in Austalia.

That is a GREAT looking truck!!! I can only hope to get mine looking half that nice!

Thanks for the compliments

Thanks! I appreciate it!

Sliders are coming soon... but I have to decide on which ones. Ah... decisions.

Great Looking Truck! Hate to be a copy cat but I found those wheels on EBAY for 399 and couldn't resist. I also have the spidertrax spacers. The last thing to copy is the tires. :-) I was curious if you had a chance to take pictures of the trimming you had to do? I'm a bit worried about putting 285's on her..

Thanks!

I'll be posting some more soon.

It's now got Donahoes up front, Bilstien 7100s in the rear, with custom Deaver coils 20% firmer than stock and 2.5" longer. A 4 crawler 1" body lift, and some 285 Cooper STTs on Lexus GX470 rims with Spidertrax 1.25" spacers installed.

She rides great on road - now to get her off into the desert!

I am curious as to how u delt with the body lify gap & ur front bumper?? Looks gapless, do tell!
I am shooting for a similar setup, sorta, i def. wanna get ahold of those tires!
I believe the lexus wheels are the same width as the se & lim. wheels right?

I'll agree. Looks VERY nice...and it's the same model and color as my 07 on order! :D It's a bit taller lift than I'd ever want to go but it sure looks bitch'n! :D
