Cool! Need some better pics of the whole truck! I like they way you did that satoshi mod though...I kinda dig it without the toyota lettering.

yeah it was a spur of the moment thing it was slow at work so i went at it all i had was my phone :/ i'll get some up after i take them with the camera soon i hope

nice custom look

seems to fit well -a nice dress up touch not often seen around here.

let's hear a bit more about it. I am looking for something in-expensive to complement the ARB bumper up front.

here is a pic of the truck side view thinking about removing the running boards

thanks for the compliments i did the bumper because it was beginning to blister so i ground that all out and d/a the entire surface with 80grit then believe it or not i sprayed it all with duplicolor truck bed coating including the modified oem grill it is amazingly durable i used it on the front of my chevy beater pickup over a year ago and it became my daily for a while it stood up to 80+miles of freeway driving without a blemish i'm in RI and there is plenty on salt and sand here! my only advice is to give it something to bite into the 80 has seemed to work great i spray from about 12-14 inches away for a finer texture go closer if you want it to look like bed coating. As far as the grill itself i used 1/2 drilled aluminum that came with some random displays at my shop it is really easy to work with cuts with tin snips i also heated and bent aprox 8 tabs on the perimeter of the grill to fasten the material as seen, i do have more of the grill material if anyone is interested PM me any other ?s feel free hope this helped and has motivated some of you

hey can you do a more extensive write up, most of the other satoshi grill mods require fiber glass work, this is one of the first i've seen that does not, hook it up with pics of the "tabs" you bent for mounting and where you cut on the grill.

Do you have enough of the grill material to send to me? Will pay for shipping. ;) BTW your ride looks great! Did you add any type of clear coat?

Wow, now thats a good idea!! Ive been looking for a durable way to get my bumpers black or close to the fender flare color. Are you going to do the rear bumper too? How much work was it getting the bumper off?

no clear just five, six, eight coats ;) i only taped the truck and lights off a 13 year old bumper on a yota doesn't come off easy!!!!!! just use care and youll have no issues. PM me your zip for pricing also i will post some more pics after they are a bit hazy because i'm using my phone but it may help. i did have to do some bondo work no fiberglass i just epoxied some plactic behind and filled the void you can see the tabs in my last pic they are about an inch wide 7/8 tall

love the black look i just did my front bumper today with rustoleum truck bed coating in a spray can i did my rear bumper a few weeks ago it looks way better than chrome IMO
