The spacers worked out great. I sold the Tundra and now im searching for a 4Runner. Even with a small lift and tires the 4Runner has to be better on gas than the Tundra. 13.5 MPG just isnt cutting it anymore! Good to see you around here. Guys here are pretty helpful.

For the bass on the passenger side of the radio (the knob over on that side) press it in and you can adjust everything (Bass, Treb, balance, etc) from it.

BTW, nice truck! The towing for the 03 V8 4WD is 7,000 lbs, the V8 2WD is 7,300 lbs.

I want to say that some of the early 03's had a different hitch design that was rated at 5000 pounds. Something along the lines of if it was manufactured before 07/03, it has the old style hitch and 5000 pound rating. I'm going off memory here, so I could be wrong. I know my hitch design is different than the later models, and I'm pretty sure I've seen the 5000 pound limit listed on the door.

LOL - that's such a crazy coincidence; My Tundra was a Pyrite Mica, and it was commonly known that Pyrites were much faster as well :thumb3:

There is a hack for the rear window. I haven't done it myself, but looks fairly simple. Link to thread here

The rear window is operating correctly- remote down, only up with key in hatch or from inside.

Get the timing belt/water pump done. Check the power steering fluid- shouldn't be hard to turn with a rack'n pinion front end.

Well, thanks for the input fellas.... I'll probably set it up within the next 2 months. Getting new tires next week, which will eat up some funds... but it seems like it's definitely "better safe than sorry."

While I'm in there, I'll do the full 90k service, and I think my power-steering is messed up --- the steering feels just to heavy to be working properly. The PS fluid level is fine, so it may be something else.
