Hello my name is Tony, I am active duty army and am currently stationed in Germany. I just scored an 05 T4R Sport for a great deal, only has 27k miles on it too. I am not new to toyota's, I also at this time have an 86 pickup 6" lift and 35" tires, in the past have had an 88 pickup, 84 1/2 4R, and an 06 tacoma DCLB sport.
The 4R will be my daily driver along with my Acura TL and I want to do a couple mods to it I am open to any suggestions.
*Lift. Would like about 3/2 or so and am looking at either getting toytec springs front and rear with diff drop spacers or maybe their "ultimate kit" http://toyteclifts.com/index.php?pa...ategory_id=72&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=53 . Havent decided yet but would like to order soon, let me know what you guys think. Seems like cornfed is a forum fav here... Good stuff?
*Tires/spacers. Going to go with some 285/70R17's (same as I had on my 06 Taco) probably BFG A/T and spidertrax spacers with the stock rims.
*Ipod integration. The truck has the JBL system and I want to get the adapter to play my ipod on it.
*Floor mats. Torn between the weather techs and the husky mats. I had weathertechs in my taco and I liked them but they felt like hard plastic, I dont know yet.
Thats about it for now I guess maybe a CAI or exhaust down the road but nothing too major. Want to do some of those freebee mods though like clear the headlights and wire the foglights etc. Please give suggestions!!
