Strange, it looked as if it had an incline on the 90 degree angle Nitto shot (the shot am looking for). BTW, thanks for sharing the pics. Its definitely making me think of getting the Nittos.
As for boarding, I use both Ride and Burton bindings (depends on which board I am riding). I really do like the Burton capstrap based bindings. It gives a much better feel than standard front strap bindngs, and it doesn't hurt the toe if you tighten it up.
Ride has an equivalent version of the capstrap (I added some to mine), but I still like the Burton version a bit better, not sure why. You can always buy the individual replacement capstraps separately, but they are harder to find.
