The FJ roof rails use bigger tubes like that so it does'nt look out of place to me.
You definitely have some mad fabricator skills. I wish I could weld like that!

I dont know exact prices, but am positive we can beat the $1,500.00 price tag of the Gobi........by a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not just you, the roof slopes down slightly toward the windshield. However, I took this picture standing on a curb and holding the camera above my head. It is much less noticable when standing at ground level. I just decided to keep rack level, rather than bending slightly to match roof pitch. It was so slight it didnt bother me.

Thx, I like it better too without the spoiler, but its just too loud without it. The thing howls at 40 mph and above without anything up there to deflect the wind.

I took it off today and put tabs up front for lights as well as putting the grate/perf. plate floor in. Cleaned it all up and its ready to go to my powder coater. I am just going with the flat black I did my sliders in so everything matches. Also bought some nice aluminum mounting plates for my hi-lift. They fit on the side of the rack, looks good. I will post some more pics when its done from powder and back up on top.
