Dumb question: I am trying to post a new message (I assume "Start New Thread") in the New Members section but keep getting a message saying I cannot do this. Do I need to write X number of replies to existing threads? I didn't see anything about this in registration FAQ. Same deal with starting a new thread on the 4th Gen forum as I have some questions for the community as a new owner. Thanks for any help in advance!

Same boat here. I joined because I've never owned one and and wanted to ask some questions. "New Members" sub...but we can't post a thread. Interesting. I'm not sure what the threshold is.

I'm new, still shopping, still researching. I'm curious, why the SR5 instead of one of the fancier models? Strictly $$, or do you just not care for bells and whistles?
