New tires/wheels for LE

My current plan is to pick up a set of BFD 18x9 wheels from FN Wheels and mount snow tires on them before the snowboarding season (plan to run Blizzaks).

I know that using 265/65/18 tires will put me right at OEM diameter with some extra width... I was just wondering if anyone is running 275/65/18 on stock suspension? It will only add half an inch in diameter and even less in width, but I think it would help the look of the truck. My only worry would be rubbing...anyone have any experience with this sized tire on stock?

I'm pretty sure the 275s would work. I run 275s on the stock 20s with stock suspension and no rubbing or clearance issues.

That's what I was thinking, although I know the width of the wheel does ultimately decide the width of the tire regardless of what the number is. For example, a 275 on a 7" wheel will be slightly narrower than a 275 on a 9" wheel. How much narrower, I'm not sure, but my concern is that this small difference in the two widths may result in rubbing. Thanks for the reply though.

You can always try and find a local tire shop that would be willing to test fit the tire/wheel combo. That's a benefit from buying local.

I will check with the shop I have been going to and see if they will do that. I imagine they will. Thanks for the input.
