So I'm getting a 4Runner very soon, and I'm trying to decide on a lift kit. Options are Radflo, King, Fox, and Icon. Anything else I should be considering?
I'm looking for the front to be adjustable up to at the very least 3" and I want a very tiny bit of rake.
From what I've read:
King: Up to 2.5" Front Lift, Rear provides no lift? What are some options to lift the rear besides the Icon 2" Springs?
Icon: Up to 3" front lift, Rear Coils provide 2" of lift? But do they settle? Does running the Icon 2.5 Reservoir rear help prevent the rear coils from settling? If u would have to put a number on it, how much do the coils settle with the 2.0 Icon Rear Shock, and how much does it settle with the 2.5 reservoir shock?
Fox: Up to 2" front lift, rear shock is listed as between 0-1" lift? Is that correct? Do the rear Fox shocks provide any lift? Again what would be some options to raise the rear about 1" if the shocks actually do nothing at all?
Radflo: between Up to 3" lift in front, Rear is up to 2" lift by way of shock? Does this mean the shock is adjustable like the Billstein 5100? Or is the shock just dependent on whatever coil I use? BTW I talked to radflo, and they say they are in the process of developing a spring to use with their rear shocks now that Overland went out of business.
