OK, just to let you know, I am currently stationed in Germany with almost zero access to parts stores.
I just bought a 94 Runner and after replacing brake cylinders noticed I am going to need a full exhaust system soon. I also saw that the R/S CV boot is shredded, and the L/S CV shaft is not there. It appears to be missing the side gear shaft (stub shaft). the tube is there, but missing some bolts. It appears to have a newer transfer case and new front calipers.
I really need to fix this truck, and with the government employee furloughs this absolutely has to be done as inexpensively as possible.
I am a total NOOB to 4Runners and I am far from being an automotive mechanic. I have a Haynes manual and am desperately searching for an affordable FSM.
It appears I am begging for your help, as I am at a total loss as to what I will need to get in order to make this truck safe to haul my kids around in.
