New(to me) 4th gen San Diego needs lift

Hey all as stated I just recently purchased a 4th gen T4R 2006 Limited white its in damn near perfect condition but now it needs to be lifted. I was just trying to figure out what peoples opinions are as far as a 3" lift. I won't be doing any hard core off roading as it is only a 2wd truck. please let me hear your opinions. thank you

there are many options out there- you have to decide what your budget is and exactly what performance you want to get and make your decision...

best to start by reading the stickies at the top of the 4th gen page- LOADS of answers to 99% of your questions are there plus lots of pics

Since your 2wd, look at some lift spindles from maxtrac or total chaos for the front.

If you are not offroading, per say, I would just run the Bilstein 5100 series shocks. ORW can install the fronts with alignment for $650. I can give a little T4R.org discount, just contact me.
BTW, that is what I have on my 06 SR5, I love it. So does the wife! Not too stiff and handles dips/pot holes way better than stock shocks.

You are new here, so I'm going to tell you what we tell most new 4th gen owners. When considering suspension mods, first completely go through and read this thread:

so i've read through almost all of the stickies and I'm still unsure about what i need (or really want) I have been kicking the idea of the Toltec BOSS w TC UCA's but I still don't know if I really need all of that. Would I be better off going with a spindle lift...BTW those aren't really mentioned at all in the stickies. if I go with a spindle lift do I need UCA's to get my caster angle back to factory?

I would get Bilstein 5100s all around. Since you are in San Diego I can refer you to a place that sells them for $537 for a set a 4 installed plus alignment ($60 I think, which you definitely want done). I bought a set for mine a couple months ago from them and they seem to know what they are doing on the install. They were even able to disconnect my XREAS when no one else would.
