New to the Board, New 06 Limited

Hey all,

Rather new to the board, but lots of great info and resources here. Looking forward to many good years here and with the 4runner.

I had been looking for a previous generation 4runner, but decided to go with the current generation. Bought a lightly used 06 4runner limited, traded in my Tundra. The rig only had 10,000 miles on it and was even Toyota Certified. I owned a 2000 4runner and this one is very different and much more substantial.

So far eveything seems pretty intuitive and easy to understand, so no real questions yet. I sure hope more tire options show up for the 18" wheels as those are going to be pricey to replace. But the rig has the Michelens on it so I am hoping they will last quite a while.

I think we'll probably be able to get 60k or more out of those Michelin Cross Terrains based on what I've read on TireRack.

I've got 13k miles on my 06 V-8 Limited 4WD, and it has been an absolute pleasure to drive. I am sure you will have a great time with yours too!

Welcome! Good choice for a lightly used vehicle from what I understand, the limiteds are the best deals for pre owned. What color is your truck? Post some pictures when you get a chance.

I too am fairly new to this board and I find it a great place to share and discuss all things Toyota. My T4R Ltd is a 2006 and I bought it new when the dealers were trying to unload all the 2006 models before year end close out. So I got a great deal on a great truck. Only bad experience I have had so far was dealing with the dealerships aftermarket people having my aftermarket navigation installed.

Anyway welcome aboard and post some pics of your rig when you get a chance.
