Yeah I really like the way those look. I might need to powder coat them black though!
I have a 2015 sr5 that I am going to build up a little for my wife. Part of that is replacing the rims on so I might just switch them.

Update:
I don't think that deal is going through with the limited. There was a fear that my 60 was a bit too much truck for his son. I am glad I was able to go up there and drive it though because 1) got a nice trip to Greenville with the lady and 2) helped me make up my mind on what kind of rig to build.
Once I sell my cruiser I am defiantly going to be building a 3rd gen. I think it will be the best fit for my wife and I and it will defiantly fit our budget. I should be able to get a little nicer of af a ride for the money if I just sell my cruiser. His was sitting around 7500 if we would have made a deal and I think I can do a little better than that.
So hopefully I can move my truck soon and either buy or trade for a runner. I'll update when it happens.

I I would like to find something stock for around 5k and then putting it together myself, but I'm not opposed to buying one partially built for more and just adjusting it to my taste.

I'm looking to buy one around 150k if I can help it. As long as it is in good shape I'm fine with it though.

that would be a fair offer. there are upgrades which he isn't expecting to get get full refund out of.
it be a great offer if it had the rear locker... look for "rr dif lock" next to the dash dimmer.
- drive it around, turn the wheel and put one front tire up a curb, see if it rubs at lock (turning), bigger tire means it could rub, question is how bad, ask permission 1st, park it like that and look at clearances (turned left, drivers side outside sidewall towards pinch weld clearance, and upper ball joint clearance.)
- check if the upper control arms are replaced or stock, look for rub right at the ball joint.
- ask about lower ball joints, when were they replaced? they should be less than 50k miles, otherwise you'll want them replaced soon (cause of the lift)
- look at the rear brakes for seepage... you'll see grease/leaks on the inside sidewall of the tire.
- look at exhaust pipe for rust, usually rusts before frame... and is the worst you'll find.
- check fluid color!!! the power steering on many of the ones I've checked were brown!! very dirty, should be red.
overall, looks clean.

a: ltd didn't came with hood scope
b: factory tracking system?
c: remote door opener/closer
d: programmable pioneer am/fm/cd with satellite option?
what do they have in Georgia?

I was more in reference to the price and paid no attention to the description... Granted I would ask question upon viewing such vehicle. I would no way pay 6500-8k for a rig that has 200,000 miles as previously posted.

That thing SCREAMS rebuilt. Hood, bumper, hatch, etc.
The 98 that was posted would probably fetch $5000 here in the PNW where prices are high.

I haven't been able to find anything that isn't complete garbage for less than 4k out here. I went around to 5 or 6 dealers and I didn't find a third gen for less than 7k, not to mention every one I looked at was trashed inside and out

And e. Why is it in all caps? They don't need to yell. Also when they are written like that it is usually a dealer or a scammer in my findings.
But honestly like I just posted they don't have a lot on GA that I have found. After looking for the last few weeks it looked like a steal as long as it wasn't too torn up and I could get it for 7k or less.

The more I read the add over again it sounded pretty ghetto afterwards of course I was drinking at the time and couldn't figure out what a factory tracking device was . My dum*** passed up a deal 2 weeks my Brother inlaw is GM at a dealer had me a 99 t4r with 178,000 with factory elocker at the door at 2300 kicking myself over that one.

Yeah that would have been a deal. If you get them out here from a dealer they are crazy expensive. I looked at one that had 170k on it, 2wd, and it was torn up pretty bad and they were asking 9k for it. And the story isn't much better on Craigslist.

A little rust here and there is pretty normal for vehicles pushing the 15+ year mark.
You got some pretty low miles on her. Congrats.
