New "Toy" - Yota Project ...Opinion?

Asking for opinions on here will get all kinds of responses...LOL

Seriously, bought a 1999 Toyota Tacoma 2.4L. Has 140K on it, transmission, engine and AC work fine. Has some body damage I am going to fix over time. Only paid $500 for it and thinking of building me a flatbed on it.

For all the folks on here who may have had (or still have) one of these, any thoughts?

Is that a new version of a.....4 RUNNER?? I would think the different forums for the Tacoma would hold a wealth of information on Tacoma related modifications.

I'm pretty sure the 2.4 only came in RWD Tacos. 2.7 for 4WD. I would never mod a Toyota RWD.
