something to consider doing yourself at some point, imo. my old 93 4runner routed the exhaust to the side and i think it's a better setup; less exhaust fumes coming in through the back window (when it's down, that is). i know Toyota says "you're not supposed to drive with the back window down. ever." but that's just unrealistic. again, imo.

Not yet...Mr. SC

I've been crazy busy at work but hope to get a chance to talk to someone at length...I just wish I knew more from a off road perspective to offer serious suggestions

I have a small list of some interior things, but by the sounds of it I wouldv'e waved having "Crawl" over Torsen diff... I can work a brake and accelerator.

I'll keep ya's posted as soon as I do.

PS I also agree about the side exhaust and plan to do that during my Christmas break....the remote starteer is getting installed Monday (Viper, not Toyota)

Thanks Mark86,TheSurvivalist and oldschool....I'm up in Beacon, work down in Rockland Co. near the NJ border.

The more I drive it the more I like it...naa...make that love it. The feel of the vehicle is awesome. I'm a big guy and don't feel cramped in it at all. It's my daily driver(90 mile commute to and from) so there's no plans for any serious lift or tires yet. I am going to port the exhaust out the side, add an extra tow hook on the pass. side, add an extra battery, cut storage pockets in the slide platform to better utilize the space, front window tint to match the rears, remote start (on Monday in Westwood, NJ)

This truck's a winner

Just a quick question, does the rear cross member fill in that black plastic gap? In other words, is it really that wide?

You mean on the slide out?

The plastic strip that is in place is a preventive stop that stops things from falling off the slide platform when you pull it out...it's hard to determine how big the gap is but that thing is coming out in the near future
