something to consider doing yourself at some point, imo. my old 93 4runner routed the exhaust to the side and i think it's a better setup; less exhaust fumes coming in through the back window (when it's down, that is). i know Toyota says "you're not supposed to drive with the back window down. ever." but that's just unrealistic. again, imo.So I looked on the other side and where the exhaust comes out the rear are two nice holes where a tow hook could go the passenger side...why the hell didn't they port the exhaust out the side and throw another hook in....I mean it is the TE right?
I got contacted by Toyota for feed back on the TE today..told them I need just a bit more time, they most interested in what I thought was missing or wrong and didn't really ask what I liked….lol
hey Titanpat57, did Toyota ever follow-up with you again on your new Trail? just curious.Titanpat57, if i may be so bold, please do us all a proper and mention that the Trail Edition should have the Torsen center diff (just like the '09 Trail Edition—and all trim levels of the 4th Gen!) and that for a $40k+ loaded Trail, they should include the heated leather seats.:biggrin2:
it'd be great to nudge Toyota about an available 4.6L V8, too…*:hungry:

Congrats on the new Trail. It looks great. What part of NY are you from?
Just a quick question, does the rear cross member fill in that black plastic gap? In other words, is it really that wide?
