Overland Family Expeditions
I just posted my first youtube video. The premise is to encourage families to explore the country together. Additionally, that a great vacation can be accomplished in 1-2 weeks. Nice video. Did you use a Mavic for the aerial shots? What kind of cameras did you use for the vehicle-mounted shots?

Mavic for the aerial, two GoPro hero 5s, a GoPro session, and cell phones for the vehicle shots.

Just a short video on some areas of the local black diamond trail near Buck Rock. I eventually turned around as I could tell it was more than likely going to be too much for a stock Pro, though perhaps with someone spotting for me I could have made it.

Looks like it didn't even miss a beat and could have gone on for more. I know that my rig is more capable then I am now and I'm slowly growing in experience to catch up to my rigs capabilities.

That's the stage I'm in. I'm coming over from a CR-V so I don't want to get myself into anything because "I have a 4Runner now so I'm invincible."
The section it really had trouble on was rocky, sandy, different angles for the tires, but all at the same time. Once it started having issues there I turned back, but above that it got worse so probably a good idea. I'm sure I could have got over had I turned on the rear locker and A-Trac, but just wasn't entirely comfortable either.
I'll try it again another day though, fun trail.

Here's two quick videos from Buck Rock. I went back out with some of the OC Overland guys who stopped in Sequoia while on their way up to Oregon for a trip. With spotting in a few spots, I was able to do the entire trail, minus the real rocky section which would have been too much for me. Was nice to be able to test the vehicle out and get more comfortable with it.
This probably isn't a big hard trail for a lot of you, but being new with the 4Runner and it being stock I had a lot of fun.
Here's a short video one of the guys recorded while I was going up:
