New Vids

Beautiful country. BTW, what is your suspension and tire setup?

Suspension is stock, tires are Falken Wildpeak, in the stock 265/70R17. I just ordered a Southern Style off-road Slimline bumper, and will be adding a lift soon. Just not sure what I will go with. The rig, for stock, did fantastic.

I run Wildpeaks in 285/70-17’s and like them. If you plan on adding a winch and some aftermarket armor go with a 650lb spring rate for the front coilovers. I think 700lb coils may be a bit stiff. Do you plan on going 285’s?

Hadn't planned on 285's yet. We'll see. Once the bumper is on, the next thing up is the lift. Had originally planned on reusing the front springs, but now since the bumper is going on, winch at some point, I will go with heavier ones. Thanks for the info.

Watch me abuse my 2022 4Runner on the Poker Flat 4wd trail out of the tiny Northern California town of Downiville. Usually this trail has a mellow finish out to La Porte, but I finished with a more Easterly route towards Gibson which actually held the most difficult obstacle for the day.

It was a nice surprise.
