Because it looks fake. Atleast some larger brakes were added to help stop those large heavy wheels.

Replaced all the axles with 5 bolt instead of 6 on 5.5? Brakes are looking mighty huge too :wink2:

No bounce, was a PITA to change out the axles but I think the end product is well worth it.

Maybe in a Chip Foose showroom and never driven. Someone may find if appealing. To most of us, I suspect it's a travesty. To each his own though.

BINGO!!!!! NO chance in hell I would ever consider doing this to my truck.
On a side note: It was harder than hell to find a photo of a lowered 5th Gen on Google or Bing, that's a good sign there's not many out there, and if they are out there they're hiding.

Guys, I wanted to go back to the lowered hella flush honda scene, so I dumped mine......
Funny thing is, people actually thought this was real and started contacting me for more info.
Funny thing was when I googled lowered 2010 4 runner your's came up

Haha I would rather take yours as in the pic off road than some of the rides I have seen here! When you lift a vehicle and then put 500 lbs on the roof doth not a stable platform make lol. Buying an off road trailer for $2K is the way to go.
