Newb update - pics added

Most importantly, we named her Luci!

Last weekend we took off the running boards and mudflaps, installed a junkyard radio (complete with cassette deck), replaced the dash lights, installed a new headlight assy and turn signal light, adjusted the loose throttle cable and kick down cable.

Today I got NGK platinum plugs and plug wire kit, cap, rotor, air filter, oil filter, oil, fuel filter, egr valve and a battery. The battery already was installed and it's amazing, it cranks and fires right up on the first try. No more cranking and cranking. It is only an occasional problem but the RPM's will drop to around 500 and bounce around there. I rev it and it picks right back up. Hopefully once I install all of these tune-up items, it will not run rough anymore.

Oh, I drove it to work this morning, 35 miles one way and there is a sizable oil leak out in the parking lot. I guess I will have to jack it up and see what that's all about too. Bonus - Found out the cruise control works! :laugh:

There is another one in town or was, that I talked the guy down to $1100. 1993, auto, 4wd, white.

Interior is rough

Justin have u run Gold Mtn. ? How tough is it compared with White Mtn., Lower Larga Flats, or DishPan Springs? I'm planning on doing Gold Mtn. next and I think I remember u saying u ran it before. I've run the other 3 already. Thanks

If that is your rig in the picture, you will be able to do it no problem. There's probably a little snow up there now though.

That's a possibility, I think the dog already started chewing on one the rubber end caps. My wife left them in the garage because it was too cold and there you go... PM me.

I have also seen about 5-6 4runners at the Ontario pick a part and from thurs-sun everything is 50% off.

Yes that's one of my rigs. I think ur right about the snow. And there's supposed to be more coming later this week. I'm thinking about the Cleghorn run instead since its easier than Gold Mtn. Now I just gotta check n see if I can find my chains. You gotta carry 'em with u...(frickn CHP). :driving:
