Newbie questions about springs and wheel spacers

Hey guys I have been doing a lot of searching for answers and now I just have a few questions.

Will 1.25" wheel spacers make my stock tires rub the bumpers even if I have a Daystar leveling kit up front?

I have noticed since going from my TRD Sport Tacoma to the 4runner that there is more bouncing and body roll. Is this because of a softer suspension? I have also noticed that when going over a speed bump the 4runner will actually come down and hit the bump stops. The taco never did this.

Will switching to FJC springs give me a ride more like a TRD Tacoma?

Edit: Would replacing the shocks help since I have 85,000 miles. Is replacing suspension with a FJC suspension just as easy replacing the shocks.

That's why many upgrade to aftermarket or the stiffer FJCruiser setup. I have also noticed that when going over a speed bump the 4runner will actually come down and hit the bump stops. Yep... Will switching to FJC springs give me a ride more like a TRD Tacoma? I haven't driven a TRD Tacoma but I know the FJC springs are a big step in the correct direction.

Edit: Would replacing the shocks help since I have 85,000 miles. I'm sure it would help but when I took delivery of mine with 14miles on the odometer it was too soft. Is replacing suspension with a FJC suspension just as easy replacing the shocks. Even easier if you buy an assembled set from an FJC guy who's upgrading to coilovers or OME.

Also would a Toyota Dealership be able to troubleshoot alignment problems better than a local shop? I wouldn't count on it. The 4Runner is very straight-forward and easy in terms of alignment. Average equipment and good talent can handle it easily be it at the dealer or an independent shop.

the reason I ask about the alignment is because when I bought the 4runner a few weeks ago the alignment was completely out of whack. It was fixed at a local shop at the seller's expense but it is still off.

I am waiting to have it adjusted again for when I have the leveling kit put on, but now I may put everything on hold while I try to get FJC suspension.

How do I know if I have XREAS and will that matter when swapping suspensions?

What model? Limited, Sport or SR5? Sports have it, it was optional on Limiteds. You can actually see the lines hooked up to the front strut.

Does it matter if the FJ springs are from a 4wd or 2wd (my 4runner is 2wd) and does it matter what kind of shocks it has compared to what kind I have (I'm talking about XREAS which i haven't checked to see if I have yet. And do the years matter. Do all FJ springs fit all 4th Gen 4runners?

And finally, will the Daystar budget boost leveling kit lift the front too high since the FJ springs lift it also?

(my 4runner is 2wd) and does it matter what kind of shocks it has compared to what kind I have (I'm talking about XREAS which i haven't checked to see if I have yet. It affects the install procedure but doesn't affect whether it'll work or not. And do the years matter. No. Do all FJ springs fit all 4th Gen 4runners? So far it seems that way

And finally, will the Daystar budget boost leveling kit lift the front too high since the FJ springs lift it also? Probably a bit too high without something more for the rear. 4wd FJC springs and a Budget Boost will yield close to 3" of lift in the front.

so 4wd springs and shocks off an 07 FJ will work on my 06 2wd Limited, whether i have XREAS or not? I should find a shorter leveling kit though as a result than the Daystar? These springs and shocks have 30k miles on them.

Keep in mind, if you do have XREAS, you'll want to do all 4 corners on the same day. The XREAS links one front shock to one rear shock therefore it has to be hooked up in all four corners or removed from all 4 corners.
